I have been beginning to wonder if I have "spatial form synesthesia". For me, what I experience is the perception of forms when i encounter logical situations. These forms have no color, but i do perceive them. Its almost like they are layered below my current reality, or in my subconscious. Its kind of like if you were to imagine picking up a hot cup of coffee, drinking it, tasting it and then smashing the mug against the wall and watching it fall apart.. without actually seeing, feeling, tasting, or smelling anything- but you could still vividly imagine all of this. Whenever I would have these spatial forms come to me.. at first it was sort of a two dimensional line that gained depth to become a three dimensional cascading object, like a cliff face or a waterfall. The more I would concentrate, the more the forms would take on higher dimensions. Believe me.. it sure is strange to perceive dimensions beyond our own.. it was actually kind of exciting.
All that happened in February this year and went away quickly. It wasn't until the last couple of months that I have been experiencing this more and more. I at first thought it was just a chance occurance.. here or there. Then I realized that it happened whenever someone would ask for help with a personal situation or when I analyzed a person or concept. Now.. i realize that it always happens. I have been finding myself using spatial terms to describe logical situations, like "it goes to a peak" "because it's so heavy" "it's spread out" "it has tangent associations it groups with".
And it's getting stronger as each day passes. I am able to draw someone's logical system as I see it interacting with our current reality. I can draw a logical situation and show future and past events embedded. Will I one day be able to trully see the way things are?
